New Moon in Virgo Sitar | Crystal Bowl Soundbath & Cacao Ceremony

New Moon in Virgo Sitar | Crystal Bowl Soundbath & Cacao Ceremony

Facilitated by Sahar Khundmiri & Nikola Parque

Price: $44

Join us for a deeply immersive and transformative New Moon in Virgo Soundbath and Cacao Ceremony. As the New Moon graces the meticulous and grounding sign of Virgo, it offers a potent opportunity for purification, setting clear intentions, and nurturing your well-being.

During this sacred gathering, you will be guided through:

  • Cacao Ceremony: Begin by honoring the heart-opening medicine of ceremonial cacao. This ancient plant ally will gently connect you to your inner wisdom, prepare you for deeper introspection, and invite a sense of peace and presence.

  • New Moon Intention Setting: Harness the powerful energy of the New Moon in Virgo to clarify your intentions for the coming lunar cycle. We will engage in a guided practice to articulate your desires for self-improvement, organization, and holistic well-being.

  • Sitar Soundbath: Immerse yourself in the profound vibrations of the Sitar, a unique and ancient instrument known for its deeply resonant and ethereal tones. The healing frequencies will wash over you, releasing energetic blockages, balancing your chakras, and guiding you into a state of deep relaxation and inner harmony.

This ceremony is designed to support you in:

  • Cleansing and releasing what no longer serves you

  • Grounding your energy and finding inner stability

  • Connecting with your intuition and inner guidance

  • Setting clear, actionable intentions for personal growth

  • Experiencing deep relaxation and stress relief

No prior experience with sound baths or cacao ceremonies is necessary. Simply bring an open heart and a willingness to receive. Comfortable clothing and a water bottle are recommended. Please bring a yoga mat. Blankets and pillows will be provided for your comfort.

About Sahar Khundmiri Sound Artist, Sitarist, & Ceremonialist

Sahar Farooqui Khundmiri is a Los Angeles-based sound artist and sitarist whose work bridges Hindustani classical music, Sufi mysticism, and vibrational healing. Rooted in her South Asian, Middle Eastern, and Muslim heritage, she creates immersive soundscapes that evoke a safar, or spiritual journey through sound.

Trained in sitar, raga, and voice under maestro Rajib Karmakar, Sahar blends classical technique with crystal bowls, chimes, and devotional elements like zikr and Sufi poetry. With a Master’s in Religious Studies, her practice draws from the intersections of Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism to create spaces of reflection and rest.

Her offerings range from public soundbaths to site-specific installations, where sound becomes both sacred ritual and living art. You can follow along on her journey through her Instagram @soundsbysahar and her website www.saharsound.com.
