For Mother & Baby! Bring your baby to yoga!
This class is for women 6 weeks postpartum or cleared by healthcare provider and for babies 1 year or under.
This class is designed specifically for new mothers and their little ones, offering a new nurturing and supportive environment, where you can rebuild strength, ease, postpartum ache, and connect with your baby and other new moms who understand the challenges of the special time.
As a mom of two, I can physically recall my Favorite time spent postpartum-going to mommy and me, Yoga. Allowed me to step out of the house and into an environment where I didn’t have to worry about changing or feeding my baby. In those classes, the feelings of isolation gradually melted away, and I found a safe, healing, and strengthening way to move my new body. I also had a lot of fun bonding with my little one during those sessions.
We hope this class offers what you need during your postpartum period, whether it’s more rest or more movement. There will be options and modifications to ensure a healthy recovery.
MOTHER AND BABY YOGA • POSTNATAL YOGA • BREATH TO MOVEMENT • MIND-BODY CONNECTION • DEEP STRETCH • SAVASANA • RECOVERY • RESTORATIVE YOGA
About Beth
I’m Beth and I believe movement is magic. What brings me joy is connecting with others in meaningful ways. Whether that be meditation, movement, being in nature, or simply listening to someone, the fundamental basis is connection.
As a yoga teacher, I encourage the development of a practice that feels authentic to the individual. I see yoga as an art form. A time to explore creativity with the body, to attune with your inner world, and to use breath as a guide along the way. Through movement and breath we have the ability to shift and transform energy within the body and in turn heal the mind.
When we feel into our bodies, the mind can quiet down, our hearts can open, and we can operate from a more fluid, loving place.
I’m also a mom and certified pre/postnatal yoga instructor. Yoga is a powerful tool to aid in pregnancy, during labor and birth, and through the postpartum period. I’m looking forward to creating a local mama and mama-to-be community where we can support and empower each other!
